I am only working on the catalog and flyers, take delivery of the prototypes and pray that everything will be there by next Friday. To picture you the scene, Maison & Objet is a bit like “Groundhog Day”, one show is just over, the other begins, and you end up doing the same gestures, at the same time with the same anguish, argh. Fortunately then, it is carried by all those who are reviewing, clients, creative girlfriends, friends, and you come to forget that you are so tired !

The pieces of linen dyed last summer turned into a pale colored dress for Bertille. I like it  to be different from the front and back, variations due to the different techniques of ligatures that we used.

It’s Christmas soon, I will join some creators for a special sale on Friday the 2nd and Saturday the 3rd of December, rue Titon, in the 11th district of Paris. There will be jewelries, accessories, soft toys, dolls, bibs, pillows, rabbits, furniture. And also vintage, one of a kind,  prototype and collector pieces… Everything sold at small prices to spoil the children, decorate the home, and have fun. See you there !

This summer, with Camille and Anaelle, my two energetic interns, we had fun by making ligatures on antique linen while dyeing the jeans flare for Bertille. The result, to be shown here soon, is both subtle and fresh. I feel like doing these tye and dye now on some nice damask cloths to propose them at the shop. To be continued.

t’s always a pleasure to go to a sale of antique dolls like the one recently held at the Hotel Drouot auction. This allows me to date some of mine and see some beautiful specimens. Dolls of the 19th the French brand Jumeau, articulated bodies, mooving eyes, dolls that wore very pretty embroidered wardrobe… A feast for the eyes and the opportunity to learn a lot of details from Sylvie Daniel the expert at Drouot of all sales of clothes, toys and vintage fashion. It is fall, the colored leaves are swirling on the home page of the eshop. The first Bertille are at last available in their different wardrobes and they are now on sale here. These dolls are one of a kind pieces handmade in antique fabrics, it takes a bit of time for us to achieve them, but I will try to provide very regular updates. Those who have subscribed to the newsletter may even soon be the first to know about the new dolls online. Technology is great, isn’t it ?

Denis is my new baby, one of a kind piece made ​​in a linen cloth or a linen or hemp tea towel as in these photos. From the first drawings and the final prototype, nine months that I’m working on it… In the end it has a very soft little look and the bump of old bears. Moreover, its morphology, and it is a real stroke of luck, makes that he stands almost alone in the arms, ideal for a big hug. You were many to leave me messages after the first photos of Denis posted here. Know that Denis will be online as soon as I managed to get out of this problem loading images on the site… (Elodie please, do something). Denis is ready to be shipped in a few days, two weeks at most. And other bears are coming in ticking stripes and flowers. all these tissues are also vintage.
