A few vintage baby crawlers and blouses for children from 6 month to 2 years are now on sale on the site and at the shop. The details are really nice and they are good as new. Another dress is to come, a white dress of ceremony, embroidered with ribbons. Have a look at the panties with braces (I keep the picture for another post), they are so sweet.

some flowers
19th April 2011
Here are some flowers to be in tune with the home of the shop, on which the apple trees have bloomed. Like the cherry in my garden and the thousands of cherries which have bloomed these past weeks in Japan, inspite of the crazyness beared by some of their inhabitants. These modest flowers are for them.

some buttons
25th March 2011
Wednesday, my son was with me at the showroom and with Lou, the dauhgter of our neighboor Marie, we sorted some of the buttons I recently bought in an auction sale. The ones Lou prefer are the big buttons in metal, Gaspard likes the flower ones better, and me I prefer the little ones in glass. I decided that the buttons of Bertille’s jackets could not always match together, as Kenzo himself used to do. I find it nice as long as the shapes and the colours stay in the same tonalities,.

pépé Andreani
11th March 2011
By a stroke of luck, when we were on the verge of opening the showroom, Marie opened her vintage children’s furnitures gallery one building next to ours. And since that moment, every single person who enters the workshop asks us if : it is the same shop, if we are sisters, if we are associated because our activities fit so well together… One thing is sure, Marie became our friend and we are very happy for her, her husband and her lovely daughter that the family is getting bigger. After the pépé, a baby Andreani will soon be here !

sunday morning
7th March 2011
Among the small sunday’s pleasures, there is lying in bed with liters of tea and some funny candies, take some time to look on one’s drawings and documents, unpack a garland (Alessandra, I like it so much), listen to the kids playing in the garden.

prototype
26th February 2011
A little prototype made last summer weared by an Augustin too good to be true ! As weird as it may sounds, I feel like getting some distance from the growing success of my small collection. Since one year, I have been doing fairs without having been able to make pauses for testing new things. Despite a permanent emergency, I need to isolate myself now and get back to work on fabrics and new shapes. That is why, and also because Agnes is going for new adventures and leaves the showroom that I will settle down there with my equipment : my collection of antique linen, my old Singer, ma japonese ruler, some paper pattern and we will see what comes up. I will also look for another roommate for the showroom soon, will speak about it later.

the amateur films factory of Michel Gondry
24th February 2011
It is not to say, but I was at the inauguration of Michel Gondry’s exhibition at the Centre Georges Pompidou last week. A series of funny and realistic movie sets to allow the visitors to create their own amateur film in which we have been able to wandering around. Crazy cow, camping tent, bourgeois interieur, homeless shelter, videoclub or river of the Seine, the system is so Michel Gondry : subtil humor, changes of scale, bout de ficelle and a lot of imagination. With in the end, a concert of the band Oui Oui that got together again and played in the hall of the museum till late in the evening. It is good sometime to be parisian.

shade of white
16th February 2011
I really liked one of the three forum of tendancies at Maison & Objet, no need to tell you why. It was an ode for pureness of forms, for simplicity, for peace too, a real space of decompression. Thank you Nelly Rodi !
